DEBBIE HARDY – BRANCH SECRETARY – SOMERSET, DEVON & CORNWALL BRANCH

The General Secretary’s Office has recently been notified of the very sad news of the death of Debbie Hardy, Branch Secretary, Somerset, Devon & Cornwall Branch.

Debbie played an active union role joining the NCU in 1992 as a BT Customer Service Advisor. Debbie was elected as Assistant Branch Secretary, South West & Thames Valley branch in 1999, a member of the Clerical Organisational Occupational Committee (COOC) 2006 – 2011 and was currently Branch Secretary of the Somerset, Devon & Cornwall Branch.

If anyone may wish to attend the funeral please contact Sarah Ahern sarah.ahern.cwu@btinternet.com who is collating and liaising with Debbie’s family. She can then forward the details to you when they are known.
