Joint Note to all Operational Managers and CWU Representatives
Following feedback from the field yesterday that related to what appeared to be a diktat to cut costs and Scheduled Attendance, I have been involved in dialogue this morning with Achim Dunnwald, the Chief Operating Officer of Royal Mail Group aimed at providing full clarity to the situation.
In order to ensure that momentum is not lost in the implementation of the current Pathway to Change realignment and revision activity and that this continues in a manner that reflects our mutual interest agenda, the attached joint clarification has been reached between us both.
Branches and Representatives will note that complete clarity is provided in relation to any additional paperwork that may be in circulation in that
“Any document that has not been agreed jointly by National, Divisional or Regional management and CWU, has no status”.
The situation should now be crystal clear to all operational managers and representatives and ensure that the great progress that has been in place since the Pathway to Change Agreement ratified earlier this year now continues.
I would be grateful if this LTB and associated documentation can be given the widest possible circulation.
