ELECTION OF REGIONAL SUB COMMITTEE LEADS

As you will be aware from LTB 009/26, we recently held a branch ballot for Regional Sub Committee Leads, following the introduction of our new regional structure.

The results are as follows [1]:

MIDLANDS EQUALITY LEAD

Therefore, Sajid Shaikh is elected as the Equality Regional Sub Committee Lead for Midlands Region.

NORTH WEST EQUALITY LEAD

Therefore, Alex Shepley is elected as the Equality Regional Sub Committee Lead for the North West Region.

NORTH EAST HEALTH AND SAFETY LEAD

Therefore, Paul Arandall is elected as the Health and Safety Regional Sub Committee Lead for the North East Region.

SCOTLAND RETIRED MEMBERS LEAD

Therefore, William Johnstone is elected as the Retired Members Regional Sub Committee Lead for Scotland.

Thanks to all branches who participated in the ballot. Successful Regional Sub Committee Leads will be contacted by their Regional Official and their National Network Lead shortly for next steps regarding their Regional Sub Committee.

As always, branches should keep members informed of the activities of the Regional Sub Committees and National Networks.

[1] Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, the Regional Sub Committee Leads ballots for the Wales and the Marches and the South West areas will be concluded on Monday the 9th of February, with the results announced on Tuesday the 10th of February.
