The CWU Scotland No2 Area Rep Elections
Attention all Royal Mail Employees The CWU Scotland No2 Branch are also currently advertising a Variety of positions as AREA REPRESENTATIVES (please see attached)
Role of the Area Rep
The Area Reps deal with all issues which arise at that level. They also assist, advice and support local Reps where needed. Area Reps will also deal with discipline and grievance cases, as well as negotiating locally, on issues such as duty revisions, Christmas arrangements.
They will also deal with relevant managers, keep divisional officers and branch secretary up to date with all relevant information. Hold regular meetings with their equivalent manager and keep local reps informed of any developments and when required hold meetings with the members either on a unit bases or wider on bases. Full Training and support will be provided. If you are interested please hand in the relevant nomination form.
Elections are open now for 3 weeks and close on Friday the 4th of September at 12 noon.
